Palestine Talks - Discussion 5: The parallels of Racism & Discrimination in the U.S. and Palestine

In this fifth discussion of the Palestine Talks series, we explore the the parallels of racism and discrimination in the U.S. and Palestine.

  • In this discussion, we first talked about racism and discrimination of Palestinian people and compared it with racism and discrimination of People of Color in the U.S.

  • We then moved onto understanding the power dynamics and effects of racism and discrimination.

  • Finally, the panel speakers shared their lived experiences at the intersection of their ethnicity and experiences of being a Person of Color in the United States, and the effects that racism and discrimination has not only had on them, but what they see in their local community.

Join us to become a more informed and active agent of change in Palestinian AND U.S. liberation.
