Our MISSION is to be agents of change cultivating equitable communities through Knowledge Sharing, Community Connections, and actionable Coalition Building.

Our VISION is true change created by the sharing of knowledge, strengthened by community connections, and united in collective action for a more just and equitable society.

“A movement starts with a set of people who have a shared experience about an injustice, discrimination, or stigma… or they want to change something… then they come together to break the isolation of the experience of injustice… they build together their collective power, their collective agency for change.”

About the Founder

Whit Rafidi is a Palestinian American social justice activist, focused on sustainable practical actions that we can do to move us forward to a more equitable and just world. Whit has lived a privileged life, and has always chosen to use her privilege to help those who are not as fortunate. After joining the Peace Corps, and traveling thereafter, Whit was witness to true poverty and what colonialism and imperialism has done to the world. Whit has always been involved in nonprofits, supporting those who are supporting the marginalized and disadvantaged people. Founding KCC comes at the tail end of her Women & Gender Studies course at UMass - Dartmouth, where her Social Justice and Abolition classes spurred her into creating KCC.
